The KOffice team is happy to announce the first release candidate of KOffice 2.1. As usual, the team has worked diligently and has now been able to remove all the release blocker bugs. See the full changelog for the details.

The application that has received the most bugfixes is once again Krita. Also KWord has seen numerous improvements in many places, and the Microsoft Word filter has once again been improved. The same goes for KPresenter and its Powerpoint import filter and KSpread.

The KOffice team is happy to release KOffice 2.0.2, the second bugfix release in the 2.0 series. This release contains no new features but a number of bugfixes for almost all of the components in KOffice 2.0. This is likely the last bugfix release of 2.0 before starting the 2.1 series in October this year.

More details of the 2.0.2 release can be found in the changelog. This version of KOffice is translated to no less than 27 languages.

Today, exactly one month since the release of KOffice 2.0.0, the KOffice team releases the first bugfix release in the 2.0 series. This release contains no new features but lots of bugfixes for almost all of the components in KOffice 2.0. We are planning at least two more bugfix releases of 2.0 before starting the 2.1 series in October this year.

More details of the 2.0.1 release can be found in the changelog. This version of KOffice is translated to no less than 27 languages, one more than 2.0.0. The new language for this release is Norwegian Bokmål, one of the two written forms of Norwegian.
