Some Linux/UNIX OS vendors have kindly provided binary packages of KOffice 1.9.98.1 for some versions of their distribution, and in other cases community volunteers have done so.

Currently pre-compiled packages are available for:

• Debian packages are available in the experimental repository.
• Kubuntu
  • Packages for Intrepid

• openSUSE packages are available for 10.3, 11.0 and Factory from the openSUSE Build Service within KDE:KDE4:Factory:Extra-Apps repo.
