    what happen with kivio?

  6. Boudewijn Rempt Says:

Hi Collin — Kivio’s maintainer got a new job some time ago and was too busy to work on Kivio anymore. And since all KOffice hackers are stretched already, three simply wasn’t anyone to take over, despite Kivio being a great app.

The good thing, though, is that Kivio would be a great starting point for someone wanting to join KOffice hacking. All the bits are already present in the libraries, what is missing is stencil sets, a cool stencil selector and some file import/export plugins. Lots of fun work with immediately visible results!

Is KPresenter able to read/import Power Point 2007 files yet? I keep getting errors. “Header not found, or something along those lines.”

  8. Thomas Zander Says:

Office2007 documents are not supported in KOffice2.1, they will be in version 2.2.
